University Bina Nusantara

University of Bina Nusantara (abbreviated Binus).
Was originally derived from a computer training institution which was founded Modern Computer Course on October 21, 1974. Along with the development, Modern Computer Course then evolved into the Academy of Engineering Systems (ATK) on July 1, 1981. This academy offers education and technical informatics informatics management. Three years later, on July 13, 1984 ATK to get listed status and turn into AMIK Jakarta. On July 1, 1985, AMIK open courses in the field of computerized accounting. AMIK began using the name of Bina Nusantara on 21 September 1985.

AMIK academy award winning best computer from the Ministry of Education and Culture on March 17, 1986. Bina Nusantara AMIK then formed STMIK (High School of Informatics and Computer Management), Bina Nusantara on a Juli1986. These institutions offer courses and bachelor degree (S1) in the field of information management and informatics techniques.

On 9 November 1987 AMIK Bina Nusantara Bina Nusantara STMIK joined to form a single educational institution offering courses in a diploma (D3) and strata 1 (S1). Bina Nusantara STMIK obtain equal status for all courses of study on March 18, 1992. Bina Nusantara STMIK then open the program of graduate study management information systems, first in Indonesia on May 10, 1993.

Universitas Bina Nusantara was subsequently established on August 8, 1996. Bina Nusantara STMIK then joined the University of Bina Nusantara on December 20, 1998. The Joseph Wibowo Center for Advanced Learning (JWC) was established in 2001. JWC is comprised of three parts, namely Binus Business School (BBS), Binus International (BI), and Executive Development Program (EDP).

In 2002, Bina Nusantara Binus Center also established a training center for additional courses. In the same year, Bina Nusantara also founded the Career Binus who have cooperated with some famous companies which aim to facilitate the students of Bina Nusantara University graduates to obtain employment.

Further development of Bina Nusantara also founded the school. In 2003, established the School in Simprug Binus. Seeing that success, in July 2007, was established back Binus School in Serpong.

Bina Nusantara was established by:

• Joseph Wibowo (October 21, 1918 - July 15, 2001). Found among other awards Anugerah Bintang Sultan of Yogyakarta Guerilla (1950) and Anugerah Bintang Veteran (1996).

• Th. Widia Soerjaningsih (October 19, 1950-24 December 2004). Earned awards including Business Woman of the magazine Famous and MarkPlus SWA (2002).
