Great Pyramid of Giza


Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest pyramid of the three pyramids at Giza Necropolis and is the only building that remains a part of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is believed that the pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth dynasty Egyptian pharaoh, Khufu (Χεωψ, Cheops) and constructed for more than 20 years and is expected to take place in the years around 2560 BC. This is sometimes referred to as the Pyramid Khufu Pyramid.


History
Great Pyramid of Giza is the main part of the tomb complex of buildings which consists of two temples in honor of Khufu (one close to the pyramid and one near Sungail Nile), three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, and a pyramid of "satellite" of smaller Again, the form of an elevated track, and the Mastaba tombs around the pyramid is small nobles. A Few Hundred meters to the Southwest of the Great Pyramid there are a pyramid Which is slightly Smaller, Khafre Pyramid, Khufu one router Which is Also Considered as the builder Great Sphinx, and A Few yards farther to the west is the Pyramid of Menkaure, the successor of Khafre, the height of the pyramid of the half.
