Punai beach is the name of a beach on the east side of the island, precisely located in the village of Tanjung Kelumpang. The beach is particularly interesting adventure lovers is located on East side of the Belitung island. This trip will be interesting if you want to see the countryside Belitung. Gantung is the nearest town, about 35 km in the North Cape Kelumpang. It still really has not been built as a tourist destination.
White sandy beaches and in some parts decorated by small granite stones. The atmosphere here is really quiet, except on weekends, you may be able to see some visitors. In front of the beach there is a small island called the Punai island. If sea water is receding, you can walk into this Punai Island, once famous for its many birds pigeon. Kelumpang Tanjung village is a major producer of palm fruit. The village is actually a coconut plantation, including the beach Punai. Scenery in this place different from other beaches, although not as beautiful as Cape High.
