Main Benefits of E-Government

Unlike with e-commerce and e-Business are likely universal, e-Government is often portrayed or described in a variety of individuals or communities.

Benefits of e-Government

• It is a new interaction mechanism (modern) between the government and the community and other circles concerned (stakeholders); where

• Involving the use of information technology (especially the Internet); with the aim

• Improving the quality (quality) of service during the run.

Are clearly two of the leading countries in implementing the concept of e-Government, namely the U.S. and the UK by Al Gore and Tony Blair, has clearly and in detail describes the benefits gained by the application of the concept of e-Governmnet for one country, among others:

• Improve the quality of government services to its stakeholders (communities, businesses, and industry), especially in terms of effectiveness and efficiency of performance in various areas of the state of life;

• Increasing transparency, control, governance and accountability within the framework of the implementation of the concept of Good Corporate Governance;

• Reduce significantly the total cost of administration, relationships, and interactions of governments and stakeholders issued for the purposes of daily activities;
• Providing opportunities for government to get the sources of new revenue sources through interaction with the parties concerned; and

• Creating a new society that can be quickly and appropriately respond to various problems encountered in line with global changes and the trend; and

• Empowering communities and other parties as partners of government in the process of making various public policies and democratic evenly.

In other words, the developed countries considers that the implementation of e-Government the right will significantly improve the quality of community life in a particular country and the world community in general. Therefore, the implementation in a country other than can not be delayed, should also be taken seriously, under the leadership and the holistic development framework, which will eventually give / bring in national competitive advantage.
